Known as Shigru in Ayurveda, moringa is referenced in the Charaka Samhita, one of the tradition’s foundational texts. Its place in Indian food and plant knowledge goes back generations.
Yet most commodity moringa has no clear journey. Leaves from different regions are combined, processing temperatures are unclear, and the finished powder becomes detached from the farm that grew it.
Honest Harvest takes a different path. We source ODC3 leaves from one farm in New Chandigarh, Punjab, keep each lot identifiable, and shade-dry below 50°C before independent testing. Not because provenance is fashionable, but because it should be normal.
